I bought some Xtend last week to add to my pre-workout cocktail and wanted to give it a little time before I posted a review on it.
What is it? BCAA'S + Citrulline Malate
Before I starting using this my pre-workout cocktail consisted of Substance WPI and Body Octane. I got some good endurance off of it and it definitely helped me during my workout.
After adding Xtend my endurance and energy went up and I could feel it. Today was when I really knew it wasn't a placebo effect. I went to play my usual Sunday Basketball and mixed up 2 scoops Grape WPI, 5 scoops Xtend and 2 scoops of Body Octane with 20 oz water. I would drink this between games and I felt that it immediately replenished some of my energy and helped me with my fatigue during the games. I definitely wasn't as tired as I usually am after a good game of ball.
This will be a staple for me from now on. I think I have an added edge over everyone else on the court. They kept asking me what I was drinking and I told them it was just a protein shake. I'm not giving my secrets away.
I recommend this to everyone and it is a definite winner.
